Terms of Service

WhereIsBest ("WIB," "we," "us") is an informational recommendation service. We provide one local recommendation per category and city — based on our proprietary Best Score™ system — or no recommendation when we are not confident enough to make one.

WIB is not a directory, a review platform, a referral agency, or a marketplace. Our recommendations are editorial opinions based on publicly available signals. They are not guarantees of quality, safety, or outcome.

By accessing or using WhereIsBest, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you don't agree, please don't use the service.

Using WIB

You may browse WIB and save picks without creating an account. To use WIB Plus, you'll need to provide an email address and payment information.

Your responsibilities

• —Use your own judgment when acting on any recommendation. WIB recommendations are a starting point — not a substitute for your own due diligence.
• —Verify that any service provider you contact holds current, valid licenses for your specific project, if applicable.
• —Do not use WIB for any unlawful purpose.
• —Do not attempt to manipulate, scrape, or interfere with the recommendation system.

What Plus includes

WIB Plus provides background monitoring of your saved picks. When a meaningful change is detected — such as a pick moving to Under Review, being Removed, or a significant signal appearing — we will notify you by email. If nothing changes, you will not hear from us.

Billing

• —Monthly plan: $5.99/month, billed monthly.
• —Annual plan: $49/year, billed annually.
• —Payment is processed by Stripe. By subscribing, you agree to Stripe's terms of service.
• —Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled before the renewal date.

Cancellation and refunds

• —You may cancel at any time. Your Plus coverage continues until the end of the current billing period.
• —We do not offer prorated refunds for unused portions of any billing period.
• —To cancel, use your account settings or contact us at contact@whereisbest.app.

What Plus does not do

• —Plus does not influence which business becomes the Best Pick. The pick is determined solely by Best Score™.
• —Plus does not guarantee that any pick will remain stable.
• —Plus does not send newsletters, promotional emails, or any communication unrelated to the status of your saved picks.

WIB recommendations are based on publicly available signals including business data, license records, and consistency metrics. We do not conduct in-person inspections, verify work quality directly, or interview customers.

Recommendations reflect our assessment at the time of publication. Signals change. A business that is the Best Pick today may not be tomorrow. We monitor these signals continuously and update picks when our system detects meaningful changes.

The presence of a WIB Best Pick designation or any other WIB marker is an informational signal — not a professional certification, endorsement, warranty, or guarantee of any kind.

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law:

• —WIB is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied.
• —WIB is not responsible for any damages, losses, or injuries arising from your use of a recommended business — including but not limited to property damage, personal injury, financial loss, or any other harm.
• —WIB's total liability to you for any claim arising out of or relating to these terms or the service shall not exceed the amount you paid to WIB in the 12 months preceding the claim.
• —Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations of liability. In such jurisdictions, the above limitations apply to the extent permitted by law.

We may update these terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we'll notify Plus subscribers by email. Continued use of the service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the new terms.

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Palm Beach County, Florida.
